We now have our final five tech firms set to grace the AdviceTech Catwalk next month and, while obviously biased, we’re pretty excited about the line-up.
From around 20 or so applications, we have whittled it down to the early stage technology we think is doing something noteworthy and different for advice professionals.
This is now our second ever Catwalk event, and we have gone from AI being something relatively new and shiny to almost table stakes when it comes to making the advice process more efficient.
As such, the judging process has given weight to those earlier in their development, but still with something interesting or intriguing to show.
We have gone for tech that is broadly aimed at advice and planning firms, including things that can be used with clients as well as tech that could have a wider industry impact.
Judging discussions were as spirited as you would expect, and each application represented someone doing their bit to move the advice sector forward. A big thank you to everyone that applied, and we hope to showcase more of this interesting emerging tech in other ways in the not too distant future.
But back to now, and the firms that we have chosen to feature this time round.
The final five
(in alphabetical order)
- Etcho Personalised sustainable investing and advice process
- Lyfeguard Secure digital storage and management of clients’ key life information
- Otto AI-powered advice assistant
- Tikker Automated portfolio rebalancing and maintenance
- WealthSpace AI for advice processes with built-in privacy controls
What to expect
Each firm gets a strict (and we mean strict) five minutes to set out their stall and demo their tech. They will then get a firm but fair grilling by both you in the audience and our panel of experts, or to give them their full title, the High Inquisitors.
They are:
- Felicia Meyerowitz Singh, Engage AI and Delio
- Helena Wardle, founder, Money Means (and returning Inquisitor)
- James Dunne, managing director, client management and business development, FNZ
- Simon Cogman-Hellier, group CEO, Radiant Financial Group
